The tournament was held from the 9th to the 12th of August. The Bernard Mizeki Debate and public speaking team was one out of the 25 schools present. The boys gave a splendid performance, they worked hard and managed to prevail, 8 teams proceeding to the semi-finals. The first teams comprised of Loyiswa Mabhena , Tinaye Mungadzi, Rowan Mundondo, Michael Shanzi, Tafadzwa Munyaradzi, Nenyasha Mavuka along with Tinotenda Kawisi and Matida Macheka. The boys fought and debuted at position 5 overall, out of 25 in the tournament.
